Building Blocks Pediatrics treats infants, children and adolescents up to age 21 for many issues including but not limited to:
Physicals - routine health maintenance visits with completion of needed health forms including but not limited to camp, daycare, athletic, school entry forms.
Immunizations - per the CDC recommendations. Please See our Immunization Policy for questions.
Behavioral Concerns and Developmental Delays - including temper tantrums, feeding issues, toileting difficulties, speech and language delay, educational issues.
ADHD - using parent, teacher, and patient rating scales for evidence based treatment.
Asthma and Allergies - both acute and chronic with regular routine monitoring for those with persistent issues
Adolescent Medicine - to 21 years old for routine care including contraception (please see our information regarding adolescent visits)
Mental health issues - Anxiety, depression (severe or unresponsive mental health issues will often require referral to a psychiatrist)
Chronic illness including co-management with specialists for issues such as but not limited to extreme prematurity, genetic, disorders, heart or lung disorders, stomach or intestinal disorders, neurological disorders, etc. We also have extensive experience with children with special health care needs or multiple medical issues.
Procedures such as (but not limited to) simple sutures, incision and drainage of abscesses, foreign body removal from eyes, ears or nose and wart treatment.
Illness visits - respiratory infection, pneumonia, vomiting, dehydration, dermatological conditions, etc.
